A complete set of four Model 138 dining chairs, designed by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Møbelfabrik and made in Denmark in the 1960s. The quality of the wood and the precise proportions offer a simple and refined interpretation of Danish design from the period. Rosewood is the key material in the frame, with its deep grain and natural variations in tone that make each piece slightly different. The well-proportioned backrest and compact frame create a restrained presence, while the 45 cm seat height maintains its distinctly convivial character. The four-piece configuration allows for a cohesive ensemble around a dining table, but the chairs work equally well individually or alongside furnishings from different eras. The character of the rosewood and Andersen's design make them particularly appealing for a midcentury setting, as well as for contemporary interiors built around a few authentic design pieces. A set representative of Danish production from the 1960s, where material, proportion and functionality define the project's identity.
