Designed in 1968 by Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup for Fog & Mørup, the Semi pendant lamp is born from the juxtaposition of two semicircles, a simple formal solution that gives it its characteristic shell-like profile. The metal surface and essential geometry focus attention on the form, while the light is directed downward, creating a cozy and functional illumination. It is a suitable pendant above a dining table, a desk, or a console table, but can also be used in pairs or in multiple compositions. This design became one of the most recognizable expressions of Danish lighting of the late 1960s.
