SILVER Seller in Napoli, Italy
"Eco Silente" is an original mixed media artwork by Italian artist Giuseppe Caiafa, combining sculptural relief and expressive painting into a refined contemporary composition. The work features a cast aluminum sculpture inspired by the classical figure of Hermes, securely mounted onto a hand-painted canvas. Rather than functioning as a separate sculptural element, the metallic relief becomes fully integrated into the painted surface, creating a seamless dialogue between volume, texture and color. Rich impasto brushwork surrounds the central figure with warm ochre, golden yellow, deep crimson and subtle violet tones, enhancing the reflective quality of the aluminum while adding remarkable depth and movement. The contrast between the timeless classical subject and the contemporary artistic language gives the composition a distinctive visual identity. Presented in its original white lacquered wooden frame, the artwork offers a sophisticated balance between sculpture and painting, making it equally suitable for modern interiors, curated art collections and refined residential or hospitality spaces. The artwork is in excellent condition and is ready to hang. Painting dimensions: 40 × 30 cm Dimensions including frame: 54 × 44 cm An original and highly decorative contemporary Italian artwork that successfully merges classical inspiration with modern materials and expressive mixed media techniques.
