Up for sale is an important original artwork by Venetian master Antonio "Toni" Rigo (1934-1980), listed on the major international auction indices. This splendid oil on canvas from 1971 captures the essence and light of the Venetian lagoon. Executed with a vigorous palette knife technique, rich in textured chromatic transitions, the work represents one of the most accomplished and mature examples of the artist's production in the 1970s, before his untimely death.
