For sale is a splendid pair of Naive Art paintings, both oil on wood, signed in the upper left corner by the artist "Sgarbozzi."
The works depict two poetic and typical snowy winter landscapes in a rural/fairytale style:
1. The first painting shows two wayfarers from behind walking towards a small church under a suggestive bright red sky.
2. The second shows a shepherd with his goat on a leash beneath a flock of flying birds and a hazy green sky.
The paintings share the same expressive style, with the characteristic and detailed workmanship of the contrasting tree branches and vivid colors.
