The Arenzano table lamp is an absolute masterpiece of postwar Milanese design, conceived in 1956 by renowned architect and designer Ignazio Gardella. It takes its name from the renowned Ligurian town where the architect designed important architectural projects during that period. Originally produced by Azucena, a company founded by Gardella himself with Luigi Caccia Dominioni and Corrado Corradi dell'Acqua, the lamp is now a design icon and a collector's item. The structure is composed of a slender polished brass body, and its distinctive feature is the small eyelet or handle at the top, used for gripping and moving it easily. The lampshade is made of white satin opal glass.
