Large Tuscan table from the mid-20th century. A piece of excellent quality, carved and chiseled in the Renaissance style with floral, zoomorphic, and gargoyle decorations in walnut, beech, and patinated softwood. The imposing lion's paws support the table, aided by the finely carved central crosspiece for stability. This piece features a top that is excellent for a dining room. It can also be used as a desk without drawers, making a strong visual impact and offering great utility. An imposing and weighty table for antique dealers and interior decorators. A piece with a beautiful patina, structurally sound and solid, and in overall good condition.
