Item description

Add a touch of authentic history and Italian warmth to your home with this splendid antique bedside table. Introducing this antique Italian bedside table, dating back to the late 18th century and featuring the stylistic and structural features typical of the Directoire period. Crafted from fine walnut, it stands out for its simple, clean lines, free of excessive ornamentation. Its design is defined by rigorous yet elegant forms, with slender, tapered legs that give it a remarkable sense of visual lightness. Featuring a practical upper drawer for small items and a spacious compartment, it combines everyday utility with the charm of antique furniture. The magnificent walnut patina—warmed by the passage of time—creates the welcoming atmosphere that only genuine antique wood can convey. Its color makes it perfect for a classic bedroom or as a sophisticated contrasting element in a modern setting. It is in good structural condition but shows some signs of wear consistent with its age; Please note, in particular, the marks on the tabletop—authentic traces of its history that will remain visible (please see photos). A piece of great historical charm, perfect for enriching your home: although originally designed for the bedroom, today it can fit into any space, serving as a unique and distinctive element.
