A Dutch oak chest of drawers dating back to the mid-19th century, featuring a curved front with three drawers. The uprights, projecting at forty-five degrees, culminate in elegant, feral feet, giving the piece a robust and distinctive appearance. The chest of drawers features a pair of side pulls that support the drop-leaf top, which conceals a refined internal storage compartment. Inside, side drawers arranged in a ladder-like fashion, open compartments, and a central door offer functional and well-organized storage. A secret compartment beneath the top adds a touch of mystery and utility. The chiseled and gilded bronze escutcheons and handles further enhance the design, while the restoration work carried out ensures the preservation of the piece's structural and aesthetic integrity.
