Modular teak wood bookcase by Vittorio Dassi, 50s
Beautiful and functional Italian teak wood freestanding bookcase designed by Vittorio Dassi in the 1950s, composed of three modular modules plus a further separate module. Finished with brass details and equipped with shelves of different types of cabinets that can be moved and positioned at will. Its assembly system is very functional and does not require any tools to do so (see last image), a 'unique selling proposition' that has made it one of the most innovative bookcases of the period. It is a versatile bookcase that offers a lot of storage space and could be used in any decor, whether for the home or the office. Its period condition is good with light signs of wear consistent with age and gentle use. It is ready for use.
