Pair of Biedermeir style bottles in cut and grinded Bohemia crystal, 20s
Spectacular and striking pair of ruby red crystal bottles, made between 1920 and 1925 in northern Bohemia in the area of Jablonec nad Nisou, in one of the many artisan workshops of the place where the processing, blowing, manipulation, carving, and decoration of glass have had since ancient times their greatest splendor, where even today are concentrated many stores and stores of artists and designers to whom we owe the perpetuation of delicate and ancient art. The bottles have the classic elongated bulb shape and they are both surmounted by an elegant ground cap on the tip. The carvings and the polished grindings are contrasted with the delicate geometrical engravings. One bottle is slightly lower than the other and has a more intense coloration of the neck.
