Small and graceful pair of wall lamps with the typical balloon shape. Tthe structure, in silvered brass, is enriched by refined decorations in the form of soft garlands, the entire frame of each lamp is adorned with lead crystals, cut, ground and faceted, joined together manually by metal wires. In the upper part have a flattened octagonal shape, while in the lower part there are rectangular and other drop-shaped elongated and stylized, all positioned to form a shiny waterfall. The shape of the two sconces is the classic balloon type of the Louis XVI period. They were handcrafted between 1905 and 1910 by an unknown craftsman in the suburbs of Paris. The sconces have a single point of light, but when lit, the ground crystals refract the light with infinite facets, and enchanting reflections are created that enhance their decorative effect. The electrical system is of the era with European wiring and therefore to be overhauled or replaced.
