Item description

This wicker basket was made in the late 1950s to hold knitting and sewing. Its shape features the elegant and archetypal design of the era. It is made on a wire base that forms, in addition to the base of support, the amphora body and the ring handle. There is no internal cloth bag so it also lends itself as a magazine rack. Vintage condition is Good, but signs of use and time are present.
