Item description

Pair of Lombard lanterns made of carved walnut wood; dating from the 17th century, the taste of the decoration is still reminiscent of the Renaissance. With a square base, the lower band has panels painted in imitation briarwood, the four uprights are painted with leafy festoons and end in small shelves carved in a curl, which support the shaped cornice. On the four sides there are as many removable glass panes, fixed internally by wooden hooks.
