Item description
Rich and charming Italian wall sconce. From a form of turned and gilded wood, a sinuous gilded iron frame branches out, the front volutes are surmounted by three glass bobeches above which are placed fake candle holders. The frame was then adorned with metal wires with small barrel-shaped glass, flower-shaped glass, and small hexagonal glass. Then to give a final touch of elegance and kindness, the craftsman has skillfully distributed throughout the structure colored crystal drops, ground and faceted. When the applique with its three points of light, is turned on spreads a delicate light, private and soft. It was completely handmade between 1946 and 1950 in Florence by an unknown craftsman. The electrical system has been completely redone with US wiring, voltage compatibility in other states should always be verified by an electrician before use.
