Item description
French writing desk from the mid-20th century. Louis XV style cabinet veneered in walnut and bois de rose wood with gilded and chiselled bronze decorations. Finished centre desk with a large capacity front drawer. Top covered in chiselled leather of good size and service. The leather has several signs of wear and tear which add to the charm of the piece. A small desk with excellent proportions, ideal for inclusion in a bedroom or living room. Lacking a key, it is in good state of preservation with a few small signs of time.
