Ancient Hungarian painting dated 1915. Oil work on cardboard depicting portrait of the military of the First World War in uniform, of excellent pictorial hand. Beauty and proportion picture adorned with a carved and golden plane frame and plaster (bronze tint). Paint signed on the bottom left Vass E. (see photo) Reportable to the Hungarian painter Elemer Vass (1887-1957), missing authentic. Work of great character, for antiques, furnishings and collectors of military portraits. The cardboard visible in the photo of the back of the picture has been added, to fix the work in the frame over time. Picture in good condition. Painted light H 48.5 x L 39.5 cm.
