Windsor child's chair, stamped on the side of the seat "Nicholson Rockley". George Nicholson ran the manufacturing company based in Rockley, a small village near Retford in North Nottinghamshire, from 1828 until about 1840, producing the distinctive Windsor chairs. Made of yew wood, the seat is elm.
