Purple velvet armchairs designed by Gio Ponti and Nino Zoncada for the Italian manufacturer Cassina in the 1950s. The frame is made entirely of wood, the seats have been reupholstered and are made entirely of purple and green velvet, giving a touch of eclecticism and elegance. A special feature are the two backrest ears, also made of velvet. The back of the armchairs by Gio Ponti and Nino Zoncada have green velvet buttons, and the edges of the seats are also framed by a thin green velvet thread. The feet of the armchairs are covered with brass, in perfect patina.
