Ancient religious painting from the 17th century. Work of the Venetian school of large dimensions and considerable scenic impact. Oil painting on canvas depicting the episode of the miracle of the resurrection of Lazarus. Christ is in the centre, to the sides we find numerous dismayed characters in different poses that give dynamism to the composition. On the left, perhaps the painter himself, who looks at us pointing to himself. In the background, Renaissance architecture forms a backdrop. A painting of great pictorial quality, the painter's ability to represent the clothing of the protagonists was remarkable. The work has undergone restoration, re-tinting and colouring in some points, but is in a good state of conservation. Wooden and gilded plaster frame from the 19th century, very pleasant, with some signs of time. Painted light H 151 x W 220 cm.
