Nomadic kelims are generally symmetrical and multi-coloured. Some have several hypnotic motifs. It has a good condition for its age. The kelim has been washed with non-chemical soap. It is clean and ready to use. The nomads in Turkey did not live casually, they usually earned their living by selling their handmade things. They usually turned goat or sheep fleece into yarn to weave nomadic kelim. They obtained paints from materials found in nature. They wove carpets for their own use. They sold the kelim after using them for a while. Today there are no more nomads in Turkey. Nomadic kelim made at that time are precious because they are rare to find today.
