Item description
French Empire console table in mahogany feather with grafts of finely chiselled gilt bronze elements. The grey Belgian marble top is supported by an under-top band containing a drawer with a bronze frieze frieze depicting an allegorical scene in the centre. Two fine feathered columns end in a finely chased gilt bronze base and capital. Provenance: 19th century France. Measurements: 95x43 H85cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional handmade shellac and alcohol method.
