Old French painting from the second half of the 19th century. Oil on paper applied to canvas depicting a study of a male nude by a good painterly hand. Modern wood and plaster frame, carved and gilded, with fine decoration. Painting that focuses on the carnal character and his pose with an unfinished background, for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors. A painting of excellent proportion and pleasant decoration, ideal for inclusion in a living room or study. Work on paper that was applied to canvas on a wooden frame during the 20th century. In good condition with some minor signs of time. Light painting H 62 x W 40 cm.
