Writing desk with mahogany feather bookcase riser.
Mid-1800s period. Provenance France.
The desk: solid turned feet two drawers at the sides,
veneered top at the edge, central part in black leather, can be
pull, more work space is available. Above the top is a riser with drawers and open compartments with above it a bookcase riser with two glass doors
glass doors and three shelves inside.
The desk/bookcase is in excellent condition, minor signs of time. Complete with locks and keys. Consists of three parts.
Unusual original piece of furniture of the period.
