Item description

Table lamp providing diffused light with brass frame, brushed and painted black. Opaline diffuser of blown glass. Dimmer present on the power cord. The originality of the lamp IC T1 , consists in a glass sphere positioned in perfect balance between the branches of a thin and tiny structure. IC T1 faithfully reflects the creative flair of its inventor, Cypriot designer Michael Anastassiades. The designer, in this project for Flos, was inspired by the fascinating performances of a juggler who twirled a series of spheres along his arms and fingers, directing them without ever dropping them. Significant, too, is the name: IC T1 is one of the codes by which the United Kingdom classifies migrants according to where they come from, and it is a further reference to the balance with which many people must juggle a difficult everyday life. A single painted steel element forms the base and structure of the lamp and surrounds a sphere of fine blown glass finished with opaline texture. The opaline finish and the round shape of the diffuser help to diffuse the light impeccably to illuminate the surrounding spaces evenly and evenly. What's more, the beam intensity can be easily adjusted with the handy dimmer installed along the cord. Once placed on a desk, table, nightstand or console table, this lamp immediately catches the eye, contributing with originality and great stylistic merit to enhance the furnishings of professional or domestic settings. Despite its small size, in fact, the particularity of its shapes and the exclusivity of its materials make it a refined piece of furniture to be placed in the living room, bedroom, office, or in the halls of the most luxurious places. This lamp, while offering great effectiveness in terms of illumination, approaches an artistic work capable of moving and creating atmospheres perfect to accompany both the moments to be devoted to relaxation, as well as occasions of convivial type. The 2 branches of its base are complemented by non-slip rings that increase the stability of the entire structure. Condition is like new. Free of box.
