Wonderful miniature signed lower right by the master Guglielmo Ciardi, depicting the Venice lagoon.
In the foreground we find the typical pylons of the lagoon and on the left the unmistakable Venetian boats, in the background there is a view of Venice.
Note the great skill of Guglielmo Ciardi in representing Venice in detail despite its small size, which is why he is considered one of the great masters of this technique, as well as a highly rated Venetian painter with record awards.
The miniature is made in oil on a wooden board.
Venice dates back to the end of the 19th century.
