Particular and linear pair of vintage Italian wall lamps; on each wall lamp there is a sturdy cylinder in chromed brass on which, by means of minimal supports, five elegantly shaped smoked hazelnut tempered glass plates are applied; two of them are positioned so as to remain parallel to the wall, while the other three protrude outwards, like the petals of a flower; on the back of each cylinder there is a plate with a small spacer that allows you to fix the appliques to the wall and to which the electrical wires arrive; at the ends of the metal tube are positioned the two light points of each wall lamp, which is free of obstacles are excellent for a perfect distribution of light in an excellent and uniform way. The strong chrome plating of the objects was obtained with the galvanic bath. The appliques were made between 1970 and 1973 in an artisan workshop in Milan inspired by a model designed by the famous company Fontana Arte. Fontana Arte is a prestigious Italian company founded in Milan in 1932 by Luigi Fontana and Giò Ponti and specialized in glass processing and in the creation of furnishing accessories, an important name in Italian design. Our wall lamps, with their simple structure, clean lines and balanced and dynamic arrangement of the crystals, are two unique, elegant and modern pieces of furniture that adapt to any room in the house.
