Splendid allegory of Christianity is a thriving winged woman crushing a snake. In her hands he holds a slender cross like a scepter and a fiery heart on which an anthropomorphic sun rests. Spikes protrude from her crowned head. It differs from the original because it is visible the brick division in the wall in the background and the presence of tufts of grass in the upper left step. Good specimen well contrasted but slightly evanescent. Visible impression on the reverse of the sheet. Specimen trimmed inside the subject, on the reverse traces of old assembly, restorations at the four corners. On the reverse stamp (Lught 86) from the Alessandro Castagnari collection (Rome 1881-1940), a well-known merchant active in Rome, his stamp can be found on prints and drawings. In 1927 at Ulrico Hoepli in Milan a sale of sheets with this stamp was made.
