Item description
Beautiful pair of fine wooden bedside tables of Italian manufacture dating from the 1950s. The bedside tables are made of a fine dark wood and have a very classical, typically mid-century shape and style. They are supported by four stiff flared legs with a perfectly patinated brass finial. A thin sinuous frieze can be seen at the top, which seems to support the base of the body. The body of the bedside table has a small rectangular shape, with two front doors, which can be opened by two brass handles original to the period. At the top we see a compartment with a glass top shelf, connected to the base by a wooden panel that continues from the back side of the bedside table. The sides are finely worked with sinuous curves of wood. The wood has beautiful, sinuous grains. The bedside tables are suitable for bedrooms with a very classic style.
