A splendid pair of wooden armchairs attributed to the great designer Gianfranco Frattini in the 1970s, of fine Italian manufacture. The armchairs have a solid dark wood base, very beautiful. The supporting legs have a conical wooden shape characterised by a play on hard geometric lines. These legs support a wide seat with a soft rectangular cushion, lined in ice-coloured leather, which is simply charming. The leather is original of the period, maniacally cared for. The backrest follows the lines of the armchair and rises gently, maintaining the classic rectangular shape. The entire armchair is upholstered in light grey leather. The leather is perforated to the frame by means of round brass studs, very beautiful and almost invisible. Under the seat we find a sort of retaining grid to protect the seat made from original Pirelli tyres of the time. These armchairs are really very beautiful, suitable for both classic and more modern environments, given their versatility and colour neutrality.
