Splendid pair of antique 18th century wooden jewellery boxes of fine French manufacture. The jewellery boxes have baroque shapes and are very sinuous yet angular, creating a perfect mix. The jewellery boxes are made of green and gold lacquered wood, which creates a very elegant effect. The central body contains two small drawers for storing jewellery or valuables. The drawers are adorned with a gilded wooden squiggle line while the handle is made of patinated brass. The two vintage jewellery boxes are suitable for important bedrooms or for true vintage collectors.
