A credenza of fine and excellent quality. Made in France in the mid-1920s, it is of considerable size and the finish of the two hinged doors is of great value. In addition to the side doors fitted with glass shelves inside, the sideboard has an open compartment in the central portion, which is also fitted with a glass shelf. The ebonised base with sinuous motif is typical of the Deco style, black, like the top of the cabinet. The smooth glass knobs are perfect, adding to the overall impression of lightness. The sideboard is also fitted with two original sliding glass panes that can be inserted into the guides of the open compartment. Published on page 212 of the book "Passato Prossimo, tra antiquariato e modernariato" edited by Elisabetta Barbolini Ferrari and Augusto Bulgarelli and published by l Poligrafico artioli Spa in November 2000.
