Item description

Vase with zinc sulphate base decorated in half tones on a transparent opal base Svetlana Beskinkaja 1979 Svetlana Beskinskaya (1930-1986). In 1957-1963, Svetlana was the leading artist in the glass-majolica department of the Kalinin State Economic Council. At the same time, she worked in the art laboratory of the glass factory "Red May". From 1963 to 1968, he became principal artist of the glass direction of the Ministry of Building Materials Industry In 1968-1976, Beskinskaya was the secretary of the RSFSR Artists' Union. Svetlana Beskinskaya was deputy director of the magazine "Decorative Art of the USSR". The artist participates in many major exhibitions, including All-Union and international exhibitions, including exhibitions in Brussels, Paris and Genoa. Svetlana Beskinskaya was awarded the bronze and large silver medals of VDNH of the USSR in 1959 and 1960 for the development of new types of zinc-sulphide glass products. In 1968, she was awarded the title of honoured artist of the RSFSR.
