Item description

Chaise longue designed by Toshiyuki Kita for the prestigious Italian manufacture Cassina Italia in the 80s. Extraordinary design by Japanese designer Toshiyuki Kita. The chaise longue can be transformed from an armchair into a lounge chair, thanks to the metal mechanism. The special feature is represented by the adorable foldable Mickey ears. The chaise longue is made with a tubular steel structure and an elegant off-white bouclé padding. It has been exhibited at the Moma in New York and has attracted the attention of many museums, such as the Vitra design museum. The Toshiyuki Kita chaise longue is suitable for furnishing elegant environments, even by itself it creates an atmosphere and is excellent for being a unique piece of design. Stretched size 200cm. Condition: foam and mechanism in excellent condition with new off-white Bouclè upholstery.
