A Danish set of six oak razor chairs designed by Henning Kjaernulf in the 1960s was produced by EG Kvalitetsmøbler, as the original label shows. The slightly curved backrests are shaped like razor blades and are an uncommon design feature. The style and shape of the carved legs and frame are reminiscent of an almost baroque design combined with Scandinavian modernism, creating an exceptional and impressive combination. The natural grain and colour of the painted oak are complemented by the new grey fabric of the seats. The new upholstery in natural grey cotton fabric with blue threads emphasises the beauty of the oak grain, adding a modernist touch. With a commitment to combining tradition and modernity, Henning Kjærnulf's design is an instantly recognisable and timeless classic. Overall, fantastic condition, with slight marks on the wooden frame due to age and use, new foam and upholstery.
