Rosewood serving table by Svend Langkilde, 1960s

A splendid butler's tray in Brazilian rosewood designed by Svend Langkilde for Illums Bolighus dates to the 1960s. It features a solid wood base with wooden cross stretchers and a removable top with beautiful rosewood grain. Each side of the top holds a handle and is attached to the top by brass hardware, so they all lift up, creating an easy-to-carry tray. This piece of furniture is an impressive side table or a practical object for a romantic breakfast in bed. Fantastic original condition with minimal traces of use and a light patina on the brass details. The wood has been cleaned with professional components.
