Oil painting on canvas entitled "The great winter" made by Massimo D'Orta. D'Orta was born in 1950 in Naples, the city where he still lives and works today. He has been producing continuously for about thirty-five years but has rarely exhibited, as if his vision of making was similar to that of the Paleolithic painter who made his graffiti in the darkest part of the cave not for an aesthetic purpose but to satisfy a psychic need, to soothe his own fears and anxieties. Without the frame, the painting measures 70 x 70 cm.
