Berger armchair from the 1940s, in style and form similar to the well-known Poltrona Frau model 1919. Solid wooden frame, spring and jute band construction system (in the Frau tradition) and feather cushion padding. Well-preserved wooden feet. Has evidently undergone restoration (traces of the original leather upholstery are present on the inside). Upholstery has some wear marks. No tears or stains (see detail photos).
