Item description

Round decorative plate in bronze and cloisonné enamel made in China in the 20th century. Cloisonné enamel is a goldsmith's technique originally applied to jewelry design. The polychrome decoration depicts a hen with her chicks; pink lotus flowers and country flowers coexist on a blue background. The scene is delimited by a frieze with a burgundy background with polychrome floral and geometric ornamental motifs.
