Decorative plate in bronze and cloisonné enamel made in China in the 20th century. Cloisonné enamel is a goldsmith's technique originally applied to jewelry design. The plate has a polychrome decoration with a circular geometric motif and three butterflies in the centre. Geometric elements, flowers and petals stand out against blue or light blue background sections, creating a striking contrast.
