Item description

Round Kayseri rug with cotton weft and wool pile, made in Central Anatolia in the early 20th century. Dr. Generoso Urciuoli of the Schneiberg Museum in Turin viewed the rug on a photographic basis and indicated provenance, type and period of making as written above.
