Item description

Group consisting of two different pairs of chairs in the Baroque style, Holland third quarter 19th century. Made of oak veneered with walnut burl, they feature inlays of maple and other woods with small parts of ivory, the latter used both for the birds' eyes and in the petals of some flowers. The inlays are floral with vases on the open folders of the backrest. Stiffened legs and back, feet of a pair carved in claw and ball, seat cushions removable. CITES document present.
