This five-light chandelier was designed and produced by Ercole Barovier in the 1940s. It is made of Murano glass and brass.

The Barovier artistic glassworks has existed since the mid-13th century and is therefore the sixth oldest family business in the world still in business. In 1926 Ercole Barovier, Benvenuto's son, took over the artistic direction of the company, which in 1936 merged with the F.lli Toso glassworks, taking on its current name of Barovier & Toso. Ercole invented the new technique of hot colouring without melting the glass.
