Cart by Bruno Munari for Robots, 1970s
The unobtainable and iconic Robots cart is the result of the original and constant research, ironic and minimalist, of the all-round designer Bruno Munari who designed it during his collaboration with Robots in the 1970s, the decade that celebrated the birth and flourishing of industrial design in Italy and in particular in Milan his city. Robots immediately understood the importance of the change that was taking place, making the most of it and thus tracing its own corporate philosophy full of courageous choices that have inscribed its name in the history of Italian design. The elegant trolley, now unavailable, is a practical piece of furniture on wheels for use at home and/or in the office, made of steel rod and equipped with two red plastic-coated mesh shelves; it is foldable and fitted with multi-directional wheels. The frame has two shelves/trays: the lower one holds it open, while the upper one is removable and can be used as a tray. Excellent condition. The cart has no defects.
