Single 'Medea' chair, an icon of 1950s Italian design. This fantastic chair is made of curved oak and black metal legs. Designed by Vittorio Nobili for Fratelli Tagliabue in 1955. First published in the April 1955 issue 329 of Domus, it became an iconic and highly collectible piece of mid-century design. Perfect restored condition. This piece is attributed to the designer/manufacturer mentioned above. It has no attribution mark. This piece has been attributed based on archival documentation such as period catalogues, designer records or other bibliographic sources. Perfect condition.
