Pocket emptier by Giovanni Poggi for Ceramiche San Giorgio, 1950s-60s. Molded and hand-painted with an abstract expressionist-inspired motif. At the time, many famous artists frequented the town of Albissola, such as Picasso, Fontana, Scanavino, Jorn and many others. The Ceramiche San Giorgio company was part of their journey, and Giovanni Poggi, besides being an incredible craftsman and artist, is also the owner of Ceramiche San Giorgio. This is a vintage piece so it may show slight traces of use but can be considered in excellent original condition. One of a kind.
