Item description

Napoleon III polychrome porcelain and gilt bronze abat-jour table lamp made in France in the early 20th century. The three porcelain sculptures rest on an oval marble base surrounded by gilt bronze border. The woman is depicted inside a sedan chair and is courted by two noblemen. Providing a backdrop to the scene are bronze vines alternating with porcelain petals where two arms with candleholders unfold. Lamp complete with certificate of authenticity.
