Rosewood complete dining room set by Jaque Kleine, 1943
Complete dining room designed by Jacque Klein, exhibited in 1943, with an original and exclusive design. Made of rosewood. Dimensions: buffet 275x57x112 cmh, table 170x110x70h cm, showcase 136x48x172h cm, n. 6 chairs 48x45x102h cm. The display case and the buffet are equipped with a support wall with breadstick processing on which the body of the cabinet rests. All components are supported by stylised capital drums resting on a platform. The handles consist of a circular housing with a knob made from a single piece of wood, the nozzles depict a bicauda siren. Jacques "Jaque" Klein (1899-1963), French decorator and designer, exponent of Art Deco, whose original style is characterized by the use of strong contrasts between shapes, styles and materials.
