Dutch secretaire from the second half of the 20th century. Louis XVI style cabinet pleasantly inlaid in walnut, rosewood, maple, bois de rose, mahogany, briarwood, ebonised wood and fruit woods. High-leg secretaire fitted with a front drawer and calatoia (see photo). Interior complete with eight small drawers, an open compartment and a large secret compartment (see photo). Desk top with a central stain with a small lack of veneer (see photo). Cabinet supported on four truncated pyramid legs, wooden top with some minor signs of wear (see photo). Secretaire of excellent proportion and pleasing décor, adorned at the front with an inlaid female figure on the chest. Showing some signs of age, structurally sound and complete with working key for both locks. Overall in a fairly good state of preservation.
