Item description

Polychrome glazed riser in bright colours, majolica style. The whole riser is dedicated to Bacchus: in the upper part, centrally, a bacchanal is depicted surrounded by fine gilded decorations and natural elements (vine leaves, grapes...), the same decoration is then repeated along the rest of the riser. Signed at the bottom of the plate by the artist "Francine Perreux", origin: Parisian/French. Dating from the end of the 18th century.
